… I have decided to end these postings by saying “Kirk out” as I’m tired of writing TTFN – it reminds me too much of Jimmy Young, and nobody should be reminded at all of Jimmy Young. So that’s it.

Additional: I’ve been reading John Peel’s auto/biography and on the Guardian quiz where it asks “Which extinct life form would you like to bring back to life?” I wrote “John Peel”.
PS I call it an auto/biography because he started it himself, then died. When you reach the part where Sheila takes over, it’s really sad. It’s called “Margrave of the Marshes” ISBN 0-593 -05252 -8
