Yoga practice of the day – concentration

It can be very hard to concentrate on one thing at a time – yet that is the key to success. Try this practice.

Sit comfortably. Find a spot at eye level in front of you and focus on that spot with a soft gaze.

Now turn your attention to your breathing. Notice the breath coming in and going out. If you are breathing through the mouth, try to breathe through the nose

Now repeat a word or short phrase such as ‘peace’, ‘calm’ or whatever else you need, as you breathe in.

Get up slowly and resume the day!
